To promote the publication of concise legal scholarship, Thurgood Marshall Law Review is committed to reducing the page length of law review articles that we publish.

Our length requirements are as follow:

We strongly prefer articles of less than 25,000 words (including footnotes), which is approximately 50 law review pages. Please use footnotes rather than endnotes. And all footnotes should conform to the 20th edition of The Bluebook. In your cover letter, please include a word count.
